Sam’s fighting progressively worsened from third to fifth grade. He was a frequent guest of suspension school. Sam was resistant to the solution of taking medicine to control his behavior. When we met Sam, he introduced himself as, “Stupid”. After gaining Sam’s trust, in addition to a little patience and mentoring, we convinced Sam to handle conflict with a different approach. Sam was a victim of bullying. Sam stopped fighting and started THINKING.
